Basic Meditation for focus This meditation is great to use in preparation for psychic work as it allows you to protect yourself as well as opening your higher chakra centres to communication. - Close your eyes, have both feet firmly on the ground
- Start to relax your body
- Focus on your breath - breathe deeply and rhythmically
- Inhale for count of 6 through the nose, exhale for 6 through your mouth
- This clears out your lungs - breathing is refreshed
- Continue to breath deeply
- Now visualise a beautiful white light coming in through the top of your head
- Let this white light flow through your head, down to your shoulders and down your arms
- Feel this light flow back up your arms and to your chest
- The white light now goes down through your stomach and inner thighs, let it now flow down your legs
- Feel this beautiful white light touch the back of your feet, feel it slide under your feet and to your toes
- Now visualise this white light, go through your legs once again and up to your hips
- This white light is now flowing up your sides and to your shoulders
- Now feel the light making it’s way down your spine, back up your spine and down, then back up once again
- This radiant white light now encircles your whole body and wraps itself around you like a cocoon, from the top of your head, right down to under the souls of your feet
- In your minds eye, spread your arms out to make this white light turn into a protective bubble surrounding you
- Nothing bad can enter past this bubble, you are completely safe
- Visualise your third eye opening, see the colour indigo flow through your third eye, allow it to fully open
- Now visualise a flower bud, see this bud start to open up into a beautiful red rose
- Watch it grow, look at the detail on this beautiful red rose
- Put this red rose to heart and feel the love and growth from this rose
- This is now your rose, place it at your feet
- Now start to become aware of your body, wriggle your fingers and toes and when you are ready open your eyes.
