Hi, I'm Nicki and I take care of all of the ghostly things on our site and organise our ghost investigations. I became interested in ghosts from a very young age because I could see them and most back then did scare the crap out of me, my parents were/are non believers and told me I was seeing things. I was made out to believe that what I saw was just my imagination. As I grew older I could still see them but ignored them for the most part, I had the uncanny knack of also being able to tell my friends future events that were going to happen to them. I also had a talent for knowing when my loved ones were going to die as I would dream vividly about them in an unusual way and two weeks later they would depart from this world. Even though I ignored ghosts for the most part, I wanted to know all about them, why where they here, why did they show themselves to me? Where there different types? Are they all scary? I went to the library and back then there were no ‘New Age’ sections, I had to go to the ‘occult’ section to find information. Over the course of the next few years I read up on hundreds of ‘paranormal’ books. If anyone wanted to know something about the world of the paranormal they would come to me for advice. If someone thought their house was haunted they would call me to come over and see if I could ‘feel’ a ghostly presence. I always loved horror flicks, usually the gorier the better! The Exorcist and Amityville Horror were my favourites. They peaked my interest in the paranormal. I wanted to know what ‘really’ happened. When I was about 8 yrs old my father brought home the movie ‘Audrey Rose’. It was about reincarnation, something clicked in me and I knew that what they were saying in that movie was correct. I was, unbeknown at that time, a full believer in reincarnation and have since studied immensely on the subject. At school and in social gatherings I was pretty much the odd kid out, other kids thought I was weird because of my beliefs. My friends thought I was weird too but they accepted me and in time they would just say “oh that’s just Nichole”. They also got sick of me continually taking them on ghost hunts. As I grew older my fascination with the world of the paranormal never diminished, however they did take a back seat to my ‘normal’ activities. I studied criminology, business management and took care of dogs at a kennel, but I kept getting drawn back to the world of ‘spirits’. I gave my friends personal readings and was never confident to go out and do ‘it’ publicly. After doing personal mediumship readings and exploring ‘haunted’ locations for four years, I decided it was time to go to a ‘psychic development’ course to see what I could really do. I believe I was led to this course to learn channelling skills to better utilise my mediumship abilities. My teacher, Helga, brought out talents in me that I never knew existed. She taught me to be confident and how to conduct readings for a group. Without her, I would have still been stuck and not have seen outside the square and still would not have had the confidence to read for groups of strangers. I have always wanted to share my 30 + years of paranormal knowledge and without the help of my life partner and husband Dave, I would not have had the courage to do what I have always been drawn to do. I now teach mediumship and channelling myself and share that knowledge with people who want to expand their own knowledge and range of skills. I have gone on to become a tarot reader, numerologist and Reiki master. My days of learning will never end, there are always things to learn and explore.
